She asked: “Do you think all these CEOs that you see all over the news are not ordinary people? They are normal as you and I” and she added:” The only difference between them and us is because they know how to organize their TIME properly” Time, well this reminds of the theory of relativity of Albert Einstein when I was still in high school. How I miss it? But let’s not go deep into it. These four letters can change our lives for the better or the worst if not used accordingly. How many times have we told ourselves “I still have time, I’ll do it” But will It ever be the right time?
It was one of those cold evenings, I was in a financial information systems class, in fact, it was my first evening class of the semester, so there was not much to do just apart from discussing and get to know each other more. We discussed some few things and then somehow It got deep, and we started talking about our goals and objectives, how we manage our time and so on…Then, someone brought up something that really hit me and I realized that I was among those people who always say, I’ll do it but never do it or do it when I am under pressure. For instance, the idea of starting to blog was there way back in 2017 but I never really sat back and say let me just do. To be honest, the idea about starting something to me was scary and I was telling myself, what if people don’t like it, what if I make mistakes, what if it backfires what will I do? I had so many questions in my mind, but I came to the realization that all these were just excuses because I still had Time. I am sure we all have our insecurities as to why we don’t start something, but no one is perfect and those who made It and are where they are now, started small and overcame the fear they had but I believe that the only thing you need is just to push yourself and start wherever you are.
The other day I was reflecting on all this situation and I was like It is never the time, time is now. Then, here I am today, starting what I always wanted to do, and I hope to take you along with me on this beautiful journey.
The point is; the idea that we are still young and all, makes us think that we still have time, but the truth is Your time is now. This is your time to make mistakes and grow from them, this is your time to start investing and save money for you to enjoy the returns later, this is your time to change the world and make a positive impact on the people around you. It is okay to be scared, it is okay to fail but as Warren Buffet said: ” Time is the friend of the wonderful business, the enemy of the mediocre.” So start now, the rest will fall into place eventually.
